Location
The farmhouse of Casagrande is about 3km from the historic centre of Montepulciano,
in Via di Martiena 40. In a tranquil position, far from noise, but within easy to reach
of the town and its services.

How to arrive at the villa
Arriving at Montepulciano at the square of Sant'Agnese Church, take the "Bernabei" road down for
100 m, passing by side of the Conad supermarket. Turn right just after this supermarket and continue
straight for 100 m as far as another little roundbound; there turn left where there is a brown sign
"Azienda Agricola Dei", taking "Martiena" road.
Continue straight down this narrow asphalted
road for 1,5 km passing the tennis court on your left and later a small church on your right.
Arriving at the end of the asphalted road, turn left following the now unsurfaced road down for about
500 m, passing the red plastered house on the right and another building on the left, and then turn
right into the driveway of Casagrande (n. 40), just past the castle type building on your left.
Arriving by car
To reach Montepulciano is very easy from the nearby
autostrada A1:
- For those coming from the north (Florence): it is advised to leave at the A1 exit for
the Valdichiana and follow for about 16km, the sign for Torrita di Siena and then Montepulciano;
- For those coming from the south (Rome): it is advised to leave the A1 exit at
Chiusi/Chianciano Terme and follow for about 19km, the sign for Chianciano and then Montepulciano;
